"Revenge"-Inspired Wedding Attire

Sometimes a look is not inspired by designers, celebrities or current trends -- but something much more "day to day." Grace's look is inspired by the Golden Globe- and People's Choice-nominated TV sensation "Revenge." In the first season of this ABC drama, main character Emily Thorne (played by Emily Vancamp) holds an engagement party themed "Fire and Ice." As Grace was choosing her look for the wedding she was soon attending, she took inspiration from this pivotal scene in this riveting show. The perk of rocking a red dress is that the dress alone serves as the focal point of your ensemble -- no need for a pastel clutch or a patterned head band, for example. Happy New Year!

I would just like to wish everyone a wonderful year to come! I just started blogging a few months ago and so far my readers' feedback has been wonderful, so I truly appreciate you guys. I'm just starting to get a hang of the design aspects of blogging as well as deciding where exactly I want to go with this blog and what I want to gain from it. As this winter break is coming to a close, it means it is soon time for me to return back to school in Gainesville. But along with the clean slate of a new year (and the wondrous marvel that is college) comes the opportunity to live a more cultured lifestyle -- and with that I hope to share my experiences, ideas, and opinions with all of you. Thank you so much for getting me onto my feet with Kill Them With Culture in 2012. I can not wait for the beauty that will come of 2013!
